A course curriculum built around momentum

Each phase layers onto the last so you never feel lost. We break complex topics into focused sprints with real deliverables at every stage.

1

Foundations and orientation

During the first two weeks you build core mental models. We cover data literacy, critical reasoning, and collaborative frameworks — the bedrock skills every subsequent module depends on. You will complete a self-assessment that shapes your personalised learning path.

2

Applied skills immersion

Weeks three through six plunge you into hands-on projects. You will work with real datasets, design prototypes, and present findings to peer review panels. Our instructors provide line-by-line feedback so you can iterate quickly and build genuine confidence.

3

Specialist electives

Choose from elective tracks including data visualisation, leadership communication, service design, and quantitative analysis. Each elective runs for three weeks and includes a capstone mini-project that feeds into your portfolio.

4

Capstone and portfolio review

In the final phase you synthesise everything into a capstone project aligned with a real organisation. An industry panel reviews your work, and you graduate with a verified digital credential recognised by our twelve partner companies across Wales and beyond.

Choose how you learn best

Not everyone absorbs knowledge the same way. We offer three distinct course formats so you can match your schedule, learning style, and goals.

Live virtual sessions

Join twice-weekly live sessions with your cohort. These are interactive workshops — not passive lectures. You will solve problems in breakout rooms, get instant instructor feedback, and build relationships with fellow learners across the country. Sessions are recorded for anyone who needs to catch up.

Self-paced course library

Access over 120 hours of structured video lessons, interactive exercises, and downloadable workbooks. Each module includes knowledge checks and practical assignments. Work through the material at your own pace — evenings, weekends, or during lunch breaks. Your progress is saved automatically, and you keep lifetime access to every resource.

In-person intensives

Twice a year we run weekend intensives at our Bailey-upon-Klocko campus. These immersive workshops compress an entire elective into two focused days of collaborative work, guest speakers, and networking dinners. Past attendees consistently rate the intensives as the highlight of their learning journey.

Meet the people behind every course

Our instructors are practitioners first and educators second. They bring years of hands-on experience from industries ranging from public health to fintech.

Questions we hear most often

If your question is not answered here, get in touch and we will respond within one working day.

Most learners complete the full programme in twelve to fourteen weeks when studying part-time. If you choose the self-paced track you can take up to six months. Intensive weekend formats condense individual electives into two days.
No formal qualifications are required. Our foundation phase is designed to bring everyone to a common starting level. We do recommend basic computer literacy and a willingness to engage with collaborative exercises.
Upon completing your capstone project, you receive a verified digital badge and a detailed competency transcript. Both are shareable on LinkedIn and recognised by our network of twelve industry partners across Wales, England, and Ireland.
Absolutely. We offer corporate invoicing and group discounts for teams of three or more. Many employers fund professional development through annual training budgets — we provide a templated letter you can share with your manager to make the request easier.
We offer a full refund within fourteen days of enrolment, no questions asked. After that window, you can defer your place to a future cohort at no extra cost. We want you to feel confident that this is the right investment for you.
